"Hope is like a road in the country; there was never a road, but when many people walk on it, the road comes into existence.”
Lu Xun
Hope. It can pop up and swirl around our thoughts when we may not even realise it or we can cling to it like a liferaft. From hoping your bus comes soon on a cold, windy night to hoping for the world to closer reflect your own feelings, sentiments and desires. We all hope for a better life for ourselves and our loved ones. For the wider community and the wider world to live happy, fulfilled lives. We may demonstrate this hope differently and in ways others may not understand, but it’s there. There is one crucial thing about hope. Hope needs a partner…Hope needs courage. Without courage, hope becomes just wishful thinking. Hope requires the courage to try and see what you hope for come to fruition. The courage to keep pushing to make it happen. The courage to keep ‘walking the road into existence.’ So, whatever you hope for, please, just keep walking that hopeful path with courage in your heart…
